Both deposits are a bit exaggerated. Probably, the fish died from ammonia / nitrite poisoning. You really need to go their settings online. Ammonia and nitrite, both must 0ppm nitrate, 20 ppm or less and pH in the range of 6.0 to 8.0. Your temperature is fine.
